I'm quite happy with Z6 up to around 6400 in most circumstances. @Akpinxit I don't think RAW would be better, because they the RAW processor will also affect image output (for example, some RAW processors are better at sharpening, or have more advanced features than others, so that introduces other variables such as color shifts due to how a particular RAW processor interprets or reproduces colors, etc).
